Turkish president, PM, General Staff to meet amid army coup plot charges

Turkey's president and PM will hold a meeting with the country's top military commander, a government source said.
Turkey's president and prime minister will hold a meeting with the country's top military commander on Thursday, a government source said after court decision on arrest of military personels.

Turkish court on Wednesday remanded five more military officers in custody after they were charged of involvement in a plot to overthrow the government.

Earlier, seven senior Turkish military officers were charged over the "Balyoz" coup plot by the secularist armed forces to topple the Ak Party government after police detained around 50 serving and retired officers.
