Armenian opposition says authorities commit tax terrorism against population

The Armenian authorities are carrying acts of tax terrorism against their own people by depriving them of the last pennies, Armen Martirosyan, MP of the opposition Heritage Party, stated in Parliament.

According to him, many experts have proved the expected rise in gas prices to be unjustifiable.

“It is only because of the authorities’ stupid policy that our citizens have to pay more than other states’ citizens,” Martirosyan said.

He stressed that the rise in the gas price will cause a rise in the prices for other products.

“This critical social situation will last as long as the Armenian citizens put up with the authorities that are in power due to election rigging,” Martirosyan added.
