Turkish university decorates Tanzania's president with honoraray doctorate

Tanzania's president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete was presented with the title of "honorary doctorate" by Istanbul's Fatih University for his contributions to development of relations between the two countries.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Kikwete said that they attached great importance to their economic, social and cultural relations with Turkey.

President Kikwete is currently paying a state visit to Turkey.
