Diplomatic school opened in Armenia

On Feb. 15, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, representatives of international agencies and foreign Ambassadors attended the opening ceremony of the Diplomatic School, Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Twenty-five of 150 applicants have been handpicked to acquire necessary diplomatic skills.

Among the lecturers are Armenian deputy foreign ministers, Armenian ambassadors, as well as foreign ambassadors to Armenia.

The OSCE and EU Yerevan Offices provided necessary financial and consultative assistance to the diplomatic school.

Armenian FM said specialists from Japan, China, Russia, U.S. and a number of European countries will deliver lectures at the school.
