Armenian PM meets with South Korean Ambassador

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan held a meeting with Korean Ambassador to Armenia Lee Ku Hyung on Feb. 12.
During the meeting, the Armenian Premier stressed Armenia attaches high importance to developing cooperation with South Korea.

Speaking of bilateral trade and economic relations, the Prime Minister pointed out the need for relevant laws, establishment immediate business contacts and joint ventures, encouragement of South Korean investments in economic projects in Armenia.

In this context, the Armenian Premier underscored Korean company’s involvement in the construction of a new power unit at the Yerevan heat and power plant.

Sargsyan stressed that given South Korea’s wide experience in railway construction, South Korean companies may take interest in the Iran-Armenia railway project.
