US envoy to visit Turkish Parliament next week

The senior U.S. diplomat in Turkey will visit the Turkish Parliament next week, a parliament committee said on Friday.
The Foreign Affairs Committee released a statement in which it said U.S. Ambassador to Turkey James Jeffrey would visit the committee on Monday.

Jeffrey and committee members will exchange views on recent developments in Turkish-U.S. relations.

Murat Mercan, the chairman of the committee, is expected to hold a press conference after the meeting.
