Armenian delegation headed by Deputy FM Arman Kirakosyan arrived in Syria on Feb. 9.
In the course of the visit Kirakosyan held a meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al Muallem.
The talks focused on a wide range of issues on bilateral political, trade and economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
The constant high-level visits give new impetus to mutually beneficial cooperation between the friendly states, Syrian FM emphasized.
Armenia attaches great significance to the advancement of multilateral and multi-faceted cooperation, Kirakosyan noted.
Armenian officials will participate in bilateral regular political consultations, as well as attend the opening ceremony of the Armenian Consulate in Deir ez Zor.
