Three soccer players from Turkey in most popular list

Three soccer players from Turkey took place in the world's most popular footballers in 2009 list of International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

Arda Turan and Australian Harry Kewell from Galatasaray and Sercan Yildirim from Bursaspor team took place in "the world's most popular footballer amongst active players in 2009" list of IFFHS.

Arda Turan ranked the second in world list, and the first in European continent list with 91.887 points.

Sercan Yildirim ranked the 21st in world list with 10.915 points.

Harry Kewell ranked the 24th in world list, while the first in Oceania list with 9.400 points.

Carlos Alberto Pavon from Real CD Espana team is at the top of the world list with
195.182 points.

The list contains 115 footballers, who are actively playing, from 68 countries and six continents.
