The Ministry of Justice of Georgia stated that it is ready to supply investigators of the Hague Tribunal with all the necessary materials, the ministry's spokesperson Khatuna Iosava said.
The investigators intend to visit the country in early February to study circumstances of the August war.
"The government of Georgia hails the arrival of international experts and is ready to provide them with all t necessary materials. We are ready to cooperate with the International Court," Iosava said.
She mentioned she knew about the intention of investigative group to visit Georgia, but wasn't aware of the specific date.
She said Georgia didn't send any complaints to the Hague, but investigators could start analysis of the case themselves. In case the court sees the signs of international crime, criminal case will be brought.
