Azerbaijan will have extra 1.5bcm gas available next year

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will have additional 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas available in 2011, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said.
In his words, additional gas will increase the country’s exports.

According to him, this year Azerbaijan will export 1 billion cubic meters of gas to Russia, 500 million cubic meters to Iran, 1 billion cubic meters to Georgia and 6.6 billion cubic meters to Turkey.
