U.S. special envoy for Eurasian energy visits Georgia

Richard L. Morningstar arrived in Georgia on January 12.

During his visit to Georgia, Richard L. Morningstar will participate in bilateral meetings with Georgian officials as well as with delegates from other summit participating countries.

Official delegations and energy companies from Azerbaijan, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria as well as other countries will take part in the summit.

The Batumi International Energy Summit will address issues of energy security and development of the Southern Energy Corridor.

The summit will open Batumi tomorrow.
