Iran's parliamentary speaker meets with his Bahraini counterpart

Iran's Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani met with his Bahraini Counterpart Khalifa bin Ahmad al-Zahran, who is on visit to Tehran.
Iran's peaceful nuclear program has no threat towards the neighboring countries, Larijani said at the meeting. Iran strengthens its military power to defense itself, he added.

He said that plans of the enemies of Islam will not damage the friendly and brotherly relations of Iran with its neighboring counties. The speaker also noted that the Bahraini-Iranian relations are very good and the cooperation between the two countries develops in many spheres.

During his five-day visit, Al-Zahran is expected to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Chief of the Iranian Judicial Authority Sadiq Larijani, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili.
