Turkish court arrests 2 over deadly train accident

A court on Tuesday arrested two train drivers over a train accident in Bilecik in northwest Turkey on Sunday killed one driver and injured 14 people.
A court on Tuesday arrested two train drivers over a train accident in Bilecik in northwest Turkey on Sunday killed one driver and injured 14 people.

Cases of two crew members of the Eskisehir Express, Bulent Kocyigit and Rasit Dikmen were referred to the court after approximately 15 hours of questioning, Anadolu news agency said.

The court arrested train drivers on the charge of "causing the death of a person and the injury of more than one person."

The accident occurred on October the 3rd when the trains were travelling from Istanbul to Eskisehir.
