Georgia's foreign debts hit $8.397 billion as of Sept. 30, the central bank reported today.
A total of $2.658 billion (31.7 percent) account for state sector debts, $927.2 million (11 percent) - National Bank debts, $1.549 billion (18.4) - banking sector debts, $1.214 billion (14.5) - other sectors and $2.048 billion (24.4) - company debt.
Additionally, 95.3 percent of the amount are denominated to foreign exchange.
In the third quarter of 2009, foreign debt increased by $617 million.
