The city of Ganja has a very broad potential for bilateral cooperation with the provinces of Iran, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagir Behrami said this on his visit to Ganja, head of Press Office of the Iranian Embassy Abbas Isgandari told Trend News by telephone.
"Ganja has a very broad potential for bilateral cooperation, cooperation between the provinces and the implementation of economic projects", - said Bahrami.
Isgandari said that the Iranian ambassador paid a visit to the city of Ganja on Friday. The Ambassador visited the grave of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi, inspected the mosque of Shah Abbas, where he met with the believers and made a joint prayer with them.
According to Isgandari, the purpose of the visit of Ambassador in Ganja was familiarization with the potential of bilateral cooperation of the city and with the work of Imam Khomeni's "Imdad" ("Rescue") Committee of Iran acting in Azerbaijan.
