Nika Ivanishvili to run for Tbilisi Mayor. In late 1990s he was the head of road police.
Ivanishvili intends to establish political party and participate in May 2010 elections.

Christain Democrats intend to draw Giya Chanturia, who headed the Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia under Shevardnadze, and participated in Baku-Tbilisi-Jeikhan gas pipeline construction.
David Yakobidze, the ex-Minister of Finance of Shevardnadze times will represent the Democratic Party of Georgia.
MPs of the ruling party say the United National Movement will be represented by Gigi Ugulava, the present-day Mayor of the capital.
