Steel exports from Turkiye to Uzbekistan increased

In January-September 2024, steel exports from Turkiye to Uzbekistan increased by 25.9 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to 56.3 million dollars, Azernews reports.

"In September 2024, Turkiye exported $5 million worth of metal products to Uzbekistan, which is 54.3 percent compared to the same period last year," the ministry said.

In January-September 2024, Turkish steel exports to world markets increased by 10.7 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $ 12.2 million.

"In September of this year, Turkiye exported steel worth $ 1.4 million, which is 7.5 percent more than in September last year," the ministry said.

It was noted that over the past 12 months (from September 2023 to September 2024), Turkiye exported steel worth $ 16 million.
