New Turkish ambassador to Vatican appointed

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has appointed Lutfullah Goktas as new ambassador to the Vatican, Trend reports referring to Resmi Gazete (Official Newspaper) on Jan. 25.

Earlier, Goktas was the press-secretary of President Erdogan.

Turkey recalled Ambassador Mehmet Pachachi from the Vatican previously.
