Turkmenistan actively cooperates with int'l organizations on migration issues

Turkmenistan is actively cooperating with international organizations and structures on migration issues, the Turkmen State Migration Service said in a message.

This was announced at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Migration Bodies (CHMB) of the CIS member states held in Almaty.

Turkmenistan's representative, addressing the meeting, informed about the country's peaceful policy, work on migration issues, active and Turkmenistan's successful cooperation and mutual cooperation with international organizations and structures accumulated in this regard, the message said.

Participants of the Almaty meeting considered eleven issues, including the migration situation in the CIS countries, implementation of the program on cooperation of the CIS states in countering illegal migration for 2015-2019.
