Gazprom increases gas supplies to Turkey, Europe

Russian gas company Gazprom has considerably increased gas export to Turkey and Europe since the beginning of 2017, RIA Novosti reported, citing the company’s data.

"Russian gas export to Turkey, South and South-West Europe increased in January 1- July 15, 2017. Gas supplies to Turkey rose by 22 percent compared to the same period of 2016, supplies to Hungary - by 26.6 percent, to Serbia - by 47.9 percent, to Bulgaria - by 12.6 percent, to Greece - by 10 percent," the company said.

In January 1 - July 15 Gazprom increased gas exports to non-CIS countries by 12.3 percent to 102.9 billion cubic meters compared to the same period of 2016, according to the company’s data.

In 2016, Gazprom’s gas export to non-CIS countries reached a record level of 179.3 billion cubic meters, which is 12.5 percent more than in 2015.
