Atambayev instructs Foreign Ministry about priorities

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev  gave a number of specific instructions to the Foreign Ministry on further development of priority areas in Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy .

The president held a meeting with the country’s Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev to discuss the situation with the implementation of the country's foreign policy, Kabar reported.

Abdyldaev reported on plans to implement the agreements that were reached after the state visit of Atambayev to Russia and its federal subjects - Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.

In addition, the Foreign Minister also spoke about the joint preparations with the President's Office for holding the International Forum "Altai civilization and related peoples of the Altaic language family" in Kyrgyzstan, which is expected to be attended by representatives of several European and Asian countries.

Kyrgyz leader paid an official visit to Russia on June 19-24, during which nine documents in various areas, including the Declaration on strengthening the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, have been signed.
