Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to visit Baku in April.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov announced about this while speaking at Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow on March 7, RIA Novosti reported.
"We expect Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to Baku next month," Mammadyarov said.
The minister also noted that the prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are enormous.
President Nazarbayev was expected to visit Azerbaijan on October 12, 2016 but he was forced to postpone the visit to 2017 due to illness.
