Inflation rate in Kazakhstan hit 0.8 percent in January 2017, Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.
Food prices have increased by 1.2 percent, non-food items’ prices have gone up by 0.7 percent, and paid services’ prices have increased by 0.4 percent since early 2017.
In Jan. 2016 –Jan. 2017, the inflation rate was 7.9 percent. Food prices have increased by 9 percent, non-food items’ prices have gone up by 9.2 percent, and paid services’ prices have increased by 5.3 percent in January 2017 compared to January 2016.
