Three earthquakes measuring above 5 on the Richter scale hit the central Italian region, an area which was devastated by a series of quakes last year and is currently suffering from heavy snow.


According to Local, the quakes were felt in Rome along with other areas of Lazio, Abruzzo and the Marche, and as far away Umbria, Naples and Florence.
