Iran condemns terrorist attack in Turkey

Iran has strongly condemned the last night’s twin bomb attack on police officers in Turkey’s Istanbul.

The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Bahram Qasemi, has expressed sympathy for the victims of the terrorist attack as well as the Turkish government and nation, ISNA news agency reported.

He expressed concerns over the growing number of terrorist attacks in the neighboring country calling for international response to terrorists. He further expressed Iran’s readiness to take required actions against terrorism and extremism in collaboration with all countries.

The last night’s twin bomb attack on police officers outside a football stadium in Istanbul killed at least 38 people and injured many more.
