Cyprus names envoy to Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received the credentials of George Kasoulides, who was appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Cyprus to Uzbekistan with residence in Moscow, said the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, Kamilov and Kasoulides discussed the bilateral cooperation, including the cooperation within the EU, the UN and other international institutions.

The sides noted their mutual interest in further development of relations in various fields, intensification of international contacts and exchanges between business circles of Uzbekistan and Cyprus.
