Turkmenistan ratifies double taxation avoidance agreement with Czech Republic

Turkmen parliament has ratified the convention on double taxation avoidance and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to income taxes and capital signed with the Czech Republic, said the message from Turkmenistan’s government.

Trade, industry, pharmaceuticals, high technologies, use of alternative energy sources and investment activity are considered as the promising areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Czech Republic.

The fuel and energy sphere, as well as the transportation and communications sector open great opportunities for business partnership between the two countries.

Turkmenistan is one of the important partners for the European Union in the energy security sphere. The gas supply from the Caspian Sea region to the EU countries will make it possible to diversify the gas supply sources.
