Erdogan: Turkey to allocate $2M to OIC

Turkey will allocate $2 million to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the TRT Haber news channel quoted President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying Apr. 15.

Erdogan added that the funds will be spent to develop the relations among the OIC countries.
The 13th OIC Islamic Summit Conference is underway in Istanbul.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), founded on Sept. 25, 1969, is the largest and most influential official Muslim governmental international organization.

The OIC brings together 57 countries.
