Turkmenistan, Qatar expand bilateral relations

Turkmenistan and Qatar signed a number of intergovernmental memorandums of understanding on March 7, a source close to the negotiations told Trend.

The sides signed documents on cooperation in the spheres of transportation, finance, tourism, sports, culture and education.
The signing ceremony was held during the official visit of Qatari emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Ashgabat following his talks with Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
