Experts Assembly hails Iranians' turnout for elections

The presiding board of the Experts Assembly issued a message on Sunday thanking the Iranian nation for large turnout in the national parliamentary elections held on Friday, Irna reported.

The Iranian people created an epic in response to a call by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the message said.

People's presence further strengthened Iran's status in the international arena, the statement added.

It said that the real winners of the election were the Iranian people who are the main supporters of the Islamic Revolution.
