CIS mission to observe parliament election in all of Kazakhstan

The CIS mission will observe the parliamentary election in all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as Astana and Almaty cities, head of staff of the observation mission Yevgeny Sloboda said.

He noted that in general, the mission includes over 300 observers, according to the message from the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan will hold parliamentary election on March 20.

As many as 234 candidates from the following six parties will run for the parliament: ruling Nur Otan party (127 candidates), Ak Zhol (35 candidates), Aul (19 candidates), the Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan (22 candidates), the Nationwide Social Democratic Party (23 candidates) and the Birlik party (eight candidates).
