Iran, Russia confirm intent to strengthen co-op

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov confirmed mutual intent to further strengthening of the Russian-Iranian cooperation.

The sides made remarks during the ministerial meeting, which was held in Munich on the sidelines of the next session of the Munich Security Conference, Russian Foreign Ministry reported, TASS news agency reported Feb. 12.

“Actual issues on the development of the bilateral cooperation were discussed,” said the agency. “The sides exchanged views on a number of issues of international and regional policy.”
