CIS organizes observers' mission to monitor parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan

The CIS Executive Committee is organizing a mission of observers on the invitation of Kazakhstan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the country will hold extraordinary parliamentary elections.

About 300 observers from the CIS countries, including 17 on a long-term basis, will monitor the elections.

The candidacy of the head of the CIS observation mission will be agreed at a meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of CIS member states of the statutory and other bodies of the organization to be held on February 9.
