Book of condolences to memorize victims of Paris attacks available at French embassy

A book of condolences for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris is available at France’s embassy in Baku.

Heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Baku have come to the embassy to express their condolences.

The US ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta, head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Malena Mard, as well as Italian, UK, Palestinian and Jordanian ambassadors have come to honor the memory of victims of the Paris attacks.

Deputy Prime Minister Elchin Efendiyev will express condolences on behalf of Azerbaijani government.

Moreover, leaders of all religious confessions, including head of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade have come to the French embassy in Baku.

A series of terrorist attacks were committed in Paris Nov.13. Unidentified people opened fire at a restaurant and three explosions occurred in the vicinity of the Stade de France.

In addition, unknown people took hostages during a rock concert in the Bataclan theater. As many as 129 people were killed as a result of these terrorist attacks, according to the latest data.
