According to Forbes, Armenia is the second country among the ones with the worst economy in the world after Madagascar. During the last three years, Armenia saw a price inflation of over 50 percent, while the average salary is $100 and economic growth remains at zero.

People being driven to desperation due to the massive rate of unemployment in the country are only able to organize protests and to appeal to a tone-deaf government that sits too high to hear its citizens.

Even after the electricity protests on Baghramyan square when the police brutally cleaned the streets from the protesters, the country is still plagued with frequent demonstrations.

Now, ex-employees of the Nairit plant have again started demonstrating and demand that the factory be reopened after receiving their owed salaries.

The ex-employees are kept in limbo as nobody has told them whether the factory will be active soon or closed forever.

The unemployment rate in Armenia increased to 19.10 percent in the first quarter of 2015 from 17.80 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014, Trading Economics reports.

The Armenian people, whose government is not concerned about minimum living standards in the country, are forced to leave the country.

Hitherto, the unprecedented economic decline, mass unemployment, and miserable life in Armenia have brought the issue of migration to the surface, giving rise to a number of other hiccups, and, above all, it causes a negative impact on demographic indicators of the country.
