Armed attack at US Consulate in Turkey

An armed attack has been made on the building of the US Consulate in the Turkish city of Sariyer, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet said Aug.10.

The attack was made by a man and a woman.

In this regard, a large-scale operation was conducted in the region. The newspaper writes that a lot of ambulances came on the scene.

The newspaper said that later an operation to search for an explosive device was carried out in the consulate building.
