Turkmenistan approves preferential taxation for some entrepreneurs

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov has approved a list of types of business activities subject to preferential taxation and fixed license fee on them.

The released document said that the relevant decree was signed in order to successfully implement the tasks defined in the program of socio-economic development of the country till 2016, the introduction of international best practices in the state regulation of private entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan, as well as in accordance with Article 200 of the Tax Code of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen businessmen operate in different directions - construction, trade, public catering, agriculture, industry, education, tourism, advertising and publishing activity.

In addition, local businesses actively participate in international tenders. Turkmenistan has a private bank Rysgal, entrepreneurs publish their own newspaper, Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was founded.
