Georgia’s State Military Scientific-Technical Center 'Delta' has demonstrated two military vehicles at an exhibition in Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi, on the occasion of Georgian Independence Day.

Delta has developed a medical evacuation vehicle for the Georgian Defense Ministry designed for the evacuation of wounded and dead persons from the battlefield. The weight of the new car is 10 tons, local media reported.

The engine and chassis are assembled on the basis of the Ford Company. Engine power is 356 hp, while maximum speed is 80 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a double armor.

The company has also developed a shock reconnaissance unmanned multi-purpose helicopter, which is able to implement intelligence work and to hit targets from the air.

This helicopter is equipped with two six-barreled machine guns of M134 Minigun type and eight unguided air-to-surface missiles. The flight level is three kilometers, while maximum speed is 180 km/h.

As part of a series of festivals in honor of the Independence Day, the Defense Ministry and Delta Military Scientific-Technical Center will also demonstrate other achievements of the country's military industry to the Tbilisi residents.

In particular, BTR 'Didgori-1', 'Didgori-2', 'Didgori-3', an integrated network car, tracked military vehicle 'Lazika' and RS-122 multiple rocket launchers will be exhibited.

State Military Scientific-Technical Center 'Delta', based in Tbilisi, was established in 2010 on the base of six scientific research centers and production facilities. The organization is focused on research and development of new military and civil projects, and the production of already established products.
