U.S. Defense Secretary to visit Georgia

U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel will pay a visit to Georgia on Sept.7, according to Georgian Defense Ministry.

Hagel will visit the Krtsanisi Training Area and meet with the U.S. instructors that train Georgian servicemen for international missions.

The ministry said that Hagel will participate in discussions on the risks posed by the Ukrainian crisis to Georgia.

Following the meetings at Georgia's Defense Ministry, the U.S. Defense Secretary will meet with Georgia's President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
