A Vietnamese search team said it had located Sunday fragments of the Malaysia Airlines jetliner that went missing Saturday with 239 people total on board, according the Wall Street Journal.

What is believed to be a piece of the tail and part of the plane's inner door were found in waters off southern Vietnam, 80 kilometers (50 miles) south-southwest of Tho Chu island.

Malaysia Airlines had not received any confirmation regarding the debris, according to the report.

A photograph of one of the fragments floating in the water was released by officials.

Flight MH370 went missing early morning Saturday. It last had contact with air traffic controllers 120 nautical miles off the east coast of the Malaysian town of Kota Bharu.

The airline said people from 14 nationalities were among the 227 passengers, including at least 152 Chinese, 38 Malaysians, seven Indonesians, six Australians, five Indians, four French and three Americans.
