Georgian PM candidate expects large investments for upcoming year

A candidate for Georgia's prime ministership talked about plans to resolve the unemployment problem in the country while presenting a government program to the parliament on Nov.20.

"In regards to the risks we face, high unemployment has always existed in Georgia. in order to solve this problem, we have formulated a concrete plan to foster small and medium-sized businesses and to create new jobs. It is also planned to finance very large projects and to attract investments. The government has already taken effective steps in this direction. it is expected to invest several hundred million dollars next year, not to mention the prospects for five or six years, Garibashvili said.
