Morsi loyal face mass arrest in Egypt

The arrests of supporters of president Mohamed Morsi are continuing in Egypt, Al Jazeera channel reported on Thursday.

According to the channel, at the moment more than 100 supporters of the president were arrested.

The Egyptian opposition has been already for more than a week carrying out protests against the government.

Earlier, five ministers of Egyptian government, including Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr resigned.

The command of the Egyptian armed forces made a statement. It demanded that all political forces are to meet the people's requirements within 48 hours; otherwise the country's armed forces intend to announce an ''action map'' which will be carried out under their supervision in order to overcome the crisis.

On the eve of the expiration of the ultimatum, the Egyptian army ousted Morsi from power and he was taken to the building of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the Egyptian media outlets, the president will be under house arrest.
