Istanbul police closes way to Taksim

Istanbul police blocked roads leading to Taksim Square, CNN Turk TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, at the moment some groups are continuing protests at Taksim Square.

Earlier it was reported that on June 12 the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet with representatives of the protesters.

The protests against the reconstruction of the Gezi Park on Taksim Square in Istanbul lasted more than 10 days. On the eve protesters also clashed with the police on K?z?lay square in Ankara.
