Clashes occurred between the protesters on the Kizilagay square in Ankara and the police, CNN Turk TV channel reported.
Despite the warnings from the police about halting the rally, a group of people continued to protest, also chanting various slogans.
The police used tear gas on the protesters, according to the channel. As of current, the protest rally continues.
The protest rallies have been going on for 10 days on various cities of Turkey, against the reconstruction of Gezi park in Taksim square in Turkey's Ankara.
Earlier, the PM of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the protest rallies have ideological character, and are targeted against the country's government.
