06 June 2013 [12:00] - TODAY.AZ
The protests are still underway in the Gezi park in Istanbul, the Turkish newspaper Yenisafak said today.

According to the information, at the moment, the confrontation between protesters and the police is not observed.

Earlier, it was reported that Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc will receive a delegation of Taksim Square protesters.

Arinc said on June 4 that the Turkish government is ready to discuss the demands of protesters. The main thing for the government is to prevent any radical actions.

After a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Arinc, a delegation of protesters said that the Turkish government must fulfill their demands and all those arrested during the protests must be released immediately.
