Interior Ministry calls citizens to be vigilant in Turkey

Interior Ministry of Turkey called on citizens to be vigilant and not to succumb to provocative actions of some radical groups, Anadolu agency reported on Monday.

Rallies in support of the protesters in Gezi Park on Taksim Square downtown in Istanbul took place in different cities of Turkey. According to Turkish media, there is still tensity in the park. The protesters opposing the destruction of the park have built barricades on the street Istiklal and are throwing stones at the police.

According to the report, the police continue using tear gas and water cannons in order to disperse the protesters. The governor of Istanbul Huseyin Avni Mutlu said that 12 people were injured and 63 people arrested during the riots.

The 6th Istanbul Administrative Court decided to suspend the construction of the 'Topçu K??las?' shopping center on Taksim Square.

On June 1 in the morning in the Turkish province of Izmit a group of protesters tried to seize the building of the ruling party ofTurkey. Local police dispersed the demonstrators.
