President Mikhail Saakashvili will remain in politics after leaving office. "I'm a lawyer, but do not intend to return to the profession and I will once again fight for the freedom and independence of my country," he said in a live broadcast of "Rustavi-2".
Saakashvili admitted that he was impressed as adviser to the new president, as in this post learned a lot and has a number of recipes.
"But if you will not take me as a tractor driver, and I think you will not, then I wanted to be a counselor to next president. But if it is not acceptable to him, then I will be active in the political life of the country," said the president of Georgia.
Saakashvili noted that he has a lot of offers from different international organizations, but does not intend to leave the country until such time as it finally will be free.
