More than 235 infringements observed during Armenian presidential elections

As of 17:00, around 238 reports on violations during the Armenian presidential elections have been posted on the website Iditord.org, Armenia Today reported.

Some 20 of them were related to the electoral lists, 66 - electoral bribes and pressure, 57 - agitation, 52 - voting procedure irregularities, 19 - violation of public order on election day.

The sixth Armenian presidential election is being held today, Feb 18, from 08:00 to 20:00 local time. The head of state is elected for five years.

Those running for the presidency are the incumbent president and ruling Republican Party leader Serzh Sargsyan, former Prime Minister Grant Bagratyan, chairman of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan, Arman Melikyan, Andrias Ghukasyan and Vardan Setrakyan.
