07 February 2013 [19:50] - TODAY.AZ
Apparently, the parliamentary majority is not ready for the Georgian President's speech, leader of the minority David Bakradze said in a conversation with journalists.

As Bakradze noted, the head of state and members of the opposition were ready for tomorrow's speech, but today position of the majority was revealed, they are not ready for debates.

"The decision is made by the majority. We will accept it as a fact," the leader of the minority said.

Bakradze also stressed that Saakashvili was not only ready to come to parliament and speak there, but also participate in the debate after his speech.

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will not be able to give his annual message in parliament on February 8. As the chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili said during the Bureau of Parliament, this decision was made by the parliamentary majority.

Usupashvili linked the decision to the fact that the parliamentary minority with the assistance of President Mikheil Saakashvili refused to recognize constitutional changes limiting the president's powers.
