The Georgian Defense Ministry will open a military recuperation center in Tbilisi with the support of the U.S.
The center will be established with the assistance of the Georgian-American cooperation office in the military area and will become fully operational next year, the Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend on Friday.
The U.S. side will provide technical equipment for the center and staff training.
A group of experts from the U.S. European Command Headquarters is already in Georgia and will take part in the establishment of the medical amputation center.
According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, 20 Georgian servicemen are undergoing a rehabilitation course in the United States.
